Gonga, known as the “King of Sichuan Mountains.” This adventure is a rare chance to live the rhythm of Tibetan life: ride horseback with nomads across the golden Tagong Grasslands, share laughter around a Bonfire Dance, and breathe deeply during snow mountain meditation beneath the silent gaze of a 7,509-meter (24,635 feet) peak.
You’ll volunteer as panda-keeper in a conservation park, trek through the otherworldly black stone forest of Moshi Park, and soak in natural hot springs under the stars. Along the way, stay in handpicked boutique lodges with snow-capped views, savor authentic Tibetan cuisine, and discover centuries-old wisdom through rituals, stories, and tea.

Day 1 Arrive in Chengdu. Check in to a 5-star hotel, ease into Sichuan life with tea in a century-old park, a Michelin welcome dinner, and a stroll through the city’s blend of tradition and modern design.
Day 2 Experience the life of panda keeper at Dujiangyan Panda Base and devour authentic hotpot in one of the best restaurants in town.
Day 3 From Chengdu to Xinduqiao. Journey into the highlands and settle into a Tibetan lodge with sweeping mountain views, ending the day with a lively Bonfire Dance under the stars.
Day 4 Ride with Tibetan nomads across the vast Tagong Grasslands, visit a sacred monastery, and witness a golden sunset over the snow-capped peak of Mt. Gonga.
Day 5 Trek through the otherworldly Moshi Park, indulge in Tibetan-style afternoon tea, and soak in a mountain-view hot spring at your luxury lodge.
Day 6 Pick and roast your own tea leaves at the foot of Mt. Mengding (seasonal), enjoy a final local feast, and reflect on the journey as you return to Chengdu.
